Allow me to share the story behind why I do what I do:
Growing up, my entire life was marked by self-doubt and a lack of confidence. While others around me pursued their passions and dreams, I found myself having no passion or dream, pressured by parental expectations. After college, I landed my first full-time job at a Fortune Global 500 company, but the initial satisfaction quickly faded, leaving me unfulfilled in my work. I found myself merely enduring each day.
I dedicated significant effort to proving myself through my career, leading to frequent comparisons. Seeing someone who wasn't doing quite as well as me brought a sense of relief while encountering someone more successful left me with a feeling of inadequacy.
This period sparked a deep thirst within me to discover my life and career purpose. For the first time, I embarked on a journey to explore my true self—reflecting on my strengths, talents, personality, experiences, passions, and even my brokenness.
Over three years of discovery, I met Simon Sinek through his book, "Start with Why." His Golden Circle concept captivated me, driving me to do everything I could to discover my own WHY—my true self and the driving force behind everything I do.
Finally discovering my WHY and HOWs (see below if curious) was the most fulfilling moment of my life. I found meaning in the same work I once thought was meaningless and not enjoyable. I've gained assurance and clarity in the direction of my career and identified the environment where I thrive to be at my natural best. Comparisons with others have significantly faded, and now I focus on living out my WHY.
Recognizing that many individuals share similar struggles in their quest for purpose, I'm committed to helping them discover their own WHY so that they can move from doubt to assurance.
